Summary edit
DescriptionSt Michael, Kingsland, geograph-4724659-by-Philip-Pankhurst.jpg |
English: The 14th century East window, complete with original glass, tidied up by Thomas Baillie in 1866-7. The chancel was restored by Bodley at this time and the use of Baillie is unusual as he was using Morris & Co or Burlisson and Grylls for glass during this period. Thomas Garner was not involved, highlighting a rare error in the latest Herefordshire Pevsner. |
