| Description |
English: St Moluag's parish kirk, Tarland. This extravagant B-listed Gothic building with bellcote to the left and bell tower to the right replaced the auld kirk sited beside the village square in 1869 and the spire was added in 1889. Was it inspired by Gilcomston Free Kirk on Union Street in Aberdeen?. St Moluag was a very busy 6th Century missionary and compatriot of St Columba. |
