Summary

edit
Description
English: St. Peter's Garden of Remembrance was consecrated on 16 December 1998. It occupies about 3% of the old cemetery (1864-1981) bounded by Main, Anzio, Falmouth and Penzance Roads. The underground ossuary contains the exhumed remains of over 10, 000 Capetonians who are listed on the central cube. Almost 300 of the original monuments have been preserved in the garden, the rest were buried in the ossuary.
