VIII. Wodehouse, with a crescent for difference ; impaling, Quarterly : — 1 and 4, Gules, a demi-lion rampant or within a bordure sable ; 2 and 3, Gules, a demi-lion rampant or within a bordure sable bezantee (Lynn of Bassingborne, co. Cambridge.)

IX. Wodehouse, impaling, Quarterly : — 1 and 4, Ermine, three chevrons sable, Reppes ; 2 and 3, Or, a bend between three trefoils slipped azure {Smyth. — Bl. Norf. 23<J. It may be that the "trefoils" arc here intended to be "sable.") John Reppes of West Walton married Margaret, daughter and coheir of Henry Smyth of Walpole. See Carthews Launditch, iii. 320.

X. Wodchouse, with a crescent for difference ; impaling, Quarterly: — 1 and 4, Azure, a chevron ermine between three escallops argent, Townsend ; 2 and 3, Gules, a chevron between three fleurs-de-lis or, Havile.

The church was extensively restored in the 1870s > 773236; its perhaps most noteworthy features are the stained glass windows, memorials to the Wodehouses of Kimberley Hall. The east window contains fragments of English and continental glass dating from the 14th and 15th centuries - see > 773246 for full view. A 1950s window in the north nave wall depicts episodes from the life of St Francis > 773251. The church is kept locked; a key is available.
