English: St Peter, Everleigh, Wiltshire: hatchment of Francis Dugdale Astley (the son of William Francis Corbet Astley and Mary Bickley) (https://www.thepeerage.com/p40496.htm#i404956) who married twice: firstly in 1755 to Mary Buckler, daughter of William Buckler; secondly to .....; by his first wife, Mary Buckler, he was the father of Sir John Dugdale Astley, 1st Baronet (1778-1842). Arms: Azure, a cinquefoil pierced ermine (Astley) impaling in chief (for 1st wife): Quarterly of 4: 1&4: Sable, on a fess between three dragon's heads erased or as many estoiles of eight points of the field (Buckler) (arms granted in 1544 by Christopher Barker, Garter King of Arms, to Sir Walter Buckler of Causeway, Dorset (Burke, Sir Bernard, The General Armory, London, 1884, p.141); 2&3: Azure, 3 ..... or a bordure argent charged with roundels; and impaling in base (for 2nd wife): quarterly of 4: 1&2: Azure, a chevron between three swan's heads and necks argent; 2&3: Or, a cross patoncée gules
