Summary edit

Description
English: A flashlight carried by Thomas P. Stafford during the Apollo 10 lunar mission from May 18 to May 26, 1969. (Although Stafford brought the flashlight with him into orbit around the moon, he never visited the lunar surface.) Though a normally unremarkable device, flashlights like this one would prove critical for the Apollo 13 astronauts, who had to rely on them for light after being forced to power down their crippled spacecraft. Displayed at the Stafford Air & Space Museum, Weatherford, Oklahoma, U.S. The museum was named for Stafford, a native of Weatherford.
