| Description |
English: A Jacobs R-755 air-cooled seven-cylinder radial piston aircraft engine. The Jacobs R-755 had a displacement of 757 cubic inches (12.41 litres), and many versions had a continuous power rating of 225 horsepower (168 kW). The R-755 was used for several single-engine and twin-engine utility aircraft, small transports, and trainers during the 1930s and 1940s, including the Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing, various Waco biplanes, the Stearman PT-18 Kaydet, the Cessna AT-17/UC-78 Bobcat, and the Cessna 195. This engine has many sections cut away to show its internal structure, including the cylinders, pistons, connecting rods, cam gearing, valve pushrods, and valve rocker arms.
