English: Stallingborough Methodist Church An 1889 map shows two Methodist Chapels on opposite sides of Station Road in Stallingborough, one Primitive and one Wesleyan. Pictured is the former Wesleyan building. The foundation stone was laid on 4th Aug. 1864 and opened for worship in March 1865. The chapel provided seating for 259 worshippers and cost around £850. A schoolroom was added in 1874. The architects were Bellamy and Hardy of Lincoln. |
