Description
Deutsch: Sommerlager des DPSG-Pfadfinderstammes Ägypten-Straßlach im Großraum westlich von Waischenfeld in der Fränkischen Schweiz, 31.08. bis 12.09.1986. Im Bild: Unmittelbar nach der Versprechensfeier am 11. September: Ein frischgebackener Truppleiter. Das Klufthemd besaß die seit 1982 aktuelle Ausstattung ohne Schulterklappen und stammte ebenso wie das Leiterhalstuch aus dem Rüsthaus St. Georg, Düsseldorf; der Hut war bei Klaus Wiese Ausrüstungen, Schönkirchen bei Kiel, gekauft worden. Der verwendete Leder-Halstuchknoten mit einer „goldenen“ BSA-Lilie aus Kunststoff wurde mit einem US-amerikanischen Pfadfinder getauscht. Das historische Stammesbanner stammte noch aus der Zeit vor 1965, als die heute aktuelle DPSG-Lilie eingeführt worden war. Das Versprechen des Stammes war stets das 1930 in der DPSG eingeführte, das da lautete:
„Ich verspreche bei meiner Ehre,
daß ich mein Bestes tun will,
Gott, der Kirche und dem Vaterland zu dienen,
jederzeit und allen Menschen zu helfen und
dem Pfadfindergesetz zu gehorchen.“

Der anschließende Zusatz, der den „Grundlinien unserer Lebensauffassung“ von 1971 geschuldet war, lautete:

„Ich will zum Stamm Ägypten gehören
und verspreche den Leitlinien zu folgen.“
