Stamp of Spain; 1967; commemorative stamp of the issue "International Stamp Day 1967 - Prehistoric cave paintings"; The motive of the depicted stamp shows a Mesolithic cave painting from the East coast of Spain, exactly from the "Cingle de la Mola", near Remingia (Castellón, Spain).; This cave painting concerns the Mesolithic period (7000-4000 BC) and decribes the transition period between the "Palaeolithic" and "Neolithic" Era in the history of humankind.; The painting of an unknown master shows 5 archers with wide spread legs, what is suggesting that this men group is either leaping or marching.
