Airmail stamp of the United Arab Emirates – Emirate Fujeira; 1972; commemorative airmail stamp of the issues "Paintings of the Madonna"; Depicted is the stamp UAE-FU Michel No. 879A from 1972 showing as motive a detail of the painting "Thronende Maria mit Kind anagoria" (original title) by Quentin Massijs I (or in other spellings) (1466-1530). This painting was created in 1525 in the style of the Flemish renaissance and is contemporary located in the "Gemäldegalerie" Berlin (Germany).; The English title is "The Virgin Enthroned".; The artist has created this painting in his late years as artwork in the style of the Renaissance, before of that were his artworks in the style of the late Gothic.; Unfortunately this stamp was postmarked with an unreadable CTO.
