English: 625th anniversary of the Battle of Kulikovo (1380).
The souvenir sheet of Russia, 1 stamp×15.00 Rubles, 2 August 2005, PTC Marka Catalogue No 1049, Michel No 1281 (Block 83), Scott No 6923. Coated paper. Offset printing, multicoloured. Perforation: frame 12. The size of the souvenir sheet: 95×65 mm. The size of the stamp: 52×37 mm. Print run: 100,000.
The stamp: Sergius of Radonezh blesses Prince Dmitry Donskoy before the campaign against Mamai. High relief[1].
The margins of the souvenir sheet: miniatures from The Word of Mamai's Defeat, a Russian literally monument of 15th c.; the memorial column in the Kulikovo Field (designed by Alexander Brullov (1798–1877), unveiled in 1850).

    English: The original marble relief by Alexander Loganovsky (1812–1855) was mounted on the façade of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour destroyed in the end of 1931, now (2012) it is housed at Donskoy Monastery; the bronze replica of Loganovsky’s relief is mounted on the northern façade of the rebuilt cathedral consecrated in 2000.
    Русский: Оригинальный мраморный горельеф работы А. В. Логановского (1812–1855) был установлен на фасаде Храма Христа Спасителя, разрушенного в конце 1931 г., в настоящее время (2012 г.) хранится в Донском монастыре; бронзовое повторение горельефа Логановского размещено на северном фасаде воссозданного храма, который был освящён в 2000 г.
