Summary edit

Description A rifle association has been active in the Falkland Islands since 1885, and while I have not found a date for the construction of this range, its concrete block construction is similar to the ready use ammunition lockers at the 12-pounder battery at Charles Point. Archive records from 1942 state the two guns had recently been relocated here from Signal Hill and Arrow Point. According to the rifle association website, this range was abandoned at the time of the Argentinian invasion and was never reopened.
