Description

This is a famous statue of Charlemagne outside Notre Dame in Paris. With night lighting, the horse was much more striking than Charlemagne himself (he's hiding behind the horse's head). I can imagine this horse appearing in my nightmares, proof for Clive Cresswell that yes indeed, Paris can be a bit scary!.
