Description
English: Domenico Alberto Azuni (August 3, 1749 – January 23, 1827) was an Italian jurist. He was born at Sassari, in Sardinia. He studied law at Sassari and Turin, and in 1782 was made judge of the consulate at Nice. In 1786-1788 he published his Dizionario Universale Ragionato della Giurisprudenza Mercantile. In 1795 appeared his systematic work on the maritime law of Europe, Sistema Universale dei Principii del Diritto Maritimo deli Europa, which he afterwards recast and translated into French.
Italiano: Domenico Alberto Azuni (Sassari, 3 agosto 1749 – Cagliari, 23 gennaio 1827) è stato un giurista italiano. Nacque nel 1749 a Sassari da famiglia medio borghese, suo padre era farmacista. Si laureò in legge nella facoltà universitaria di Sassari all'età di ventitré anni. Si trasferì nel 1774 a Torino, dove esercitò fino al 1777 diventando funzionario dell'ufficio generale delle "Finanze Reali".
Deutsch: Domenico Alberto Azuni (* 3. August 1749 in Sassari; † 23. Januar 1827 in Cagliari) war ein italienischer Geschichtsforscher und Rechtsgelehrter. Domenico Alberto Azuni war zuerst Advokat in Cagliari, dann Handelsrichter in Nizza, wurde nach Nizzas Vereinigung mit Frankreich 1792 nach Paris berufen, bei der Abfassung des Handelsgesetzbuchs verwendet und dann zum Präsidenten des Appellationshofs in Genua ernannt.
