Description
English: Steam fire pump, Bliss Mill, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. This is an inverted vertical duplex rotative fire pump made by Ashworth Brothers of Manchester. It was at the bottom of the mill's distinctive stair tower. In 1984 it was moved to Coldharbour Mill to replace a similar unit that had been damaged by frost.
