Description
English: Stele dedicated to the slave Nothus, copyist and secretary, by his wife. Upper inscription: name and office of the deceased (“NOTHI LIBRARI A MANU”); lower inscription: elegiac couplet. Marble, first half of the 1st century CE. From the monument of the Statilii, near Porta Maggiore, Rome.
