| Description |
English: Steps at west end of Lambley Viaduct The west end of the viaduct is blocked by a high fence providing no access to Lambley Station NY6758 : Lambley Station from the north. The path, now the South Tyne Trail, after crossing the viaduct going south, has been diverted by way of steps off the north side of the viaduct which leads to a path. This passes through one of the arches and runs along the slope east of the station to rejoin the disused railway line to the south. Other branches lead west up to Lambley village and down to a footbridge across the River South Tyne just north of the viaduct NY6758 : Lambley Viaduct from footbridge which leads to footpaths on the east side of the river. |
