Description
English: On the Mound in Angola Indiana stands a monument that was built in 1917 to honor the 1,278 soldiers that served in the Civil War who were from Steuben County. It has Columbia on top, commemorates all four of the military branches, and has plaques around the statue with the names of all 1,278 soldiers.
