Description
English: Steyr Pieper Model 1908-09, .25 ACP, S/n 67740A, right side, manufactured c.1909, at Steyr. Located Madison, Mississippi, 2022. See separate file for the other side of this firearm.

Details: Made c.1909 at a joint venture between Steyr, Osterreichische Waffenfabrik, Austria and Pieper in Belgium. TThis is a pre-WWI commercial weapon, with proof marks on the left side, and a rather unique “pop-up” barrel for loading a round in the chamber.
