English: Still Pond, Isabella Plantation, Richmond Park This photograph was taken early/mid May, when Isabella's famous rhododendrons and azaleas are at their best. The shrub planting was laid out around 1954, overlaying an oak plantation laid out around 1880. You can see some of the oak trees from the original plantation on the opposite bank. |
