| Description |
English: Stone Circle, Faire na Paitig We criss-crossed this slope twice in an attempt to find the stone circle as we descended from Elrig towards Green Gate on the Cateran Trail. There are several larger stones nearby, but we finally found this small group of four on top of a very slight knoll exactly where the circle is shown on the map. The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland suggests that Faire na Paitig is a site rich in hut circles and cairns, only a few of which are marked on the OS map. The circle is recorded on their database as a four poster stone circle.
