English: Stone culvert, Freshwater Steps The stream from the Encombe valley passes through this culvert (beneath the coast path), which originally channelled the water to the end of the small promontory at Freshwater Steps. Due to erosion of the promontory the stream falls to the beach on the west side of the promontory as a waterfall. |
