English: Stop valve markers by Pulford Bridge These old 'S.V' markers are on the west side of the road on the Welsh side of Pulford Bridge. They show the distance to the valve '5 FEET' and the initials 'W&E.D W Co', which refer to the Wrexham and East Denbighshire Water Company. The earliest reference I have found to this company is in Hansard in 1921. |
