Description

Six of the 23 stored N3N fuselages held in store. The plan is to use them in a diorama recreating an aircraft production line. Identities from left to right are:- ‘N45280’ ex US Navy ‘2827’ (this identity is also on the restored N3N-3 in hangar 1), ‘N45024’ ex US Navy ‘1790’, ID unknown, ‘2736’ later civil registered as N45269, ID unknown and ID unknown. They are stored on top of a container next to the restoration hangar at the Yanks Air Museum, Chino, California, USA.
