English: Stourbridge Canal Breach near Wordesley Junction This view from the north side of the River Stour shows the scale of the collapse, The lads at the top of the picture are standing IN where the edge of the canal should be. The whole embankment, trees, soil and a substantial amount of sandstone substrata have gone, though it has been suggested that some of this gap may well have been infilled to start with.
