Deutsch: Luckenwalde in Brandenburg. Der Waldfriedhof steht unter Denkmalschutz.
English: Designed by Richard Neutra, the entrance gate buildings of the Forest Cemetery are the only remaining structures by Neutra in Luckenwalde, where he worked from 1921 to 1922 in the office of the city planner Josef Bischof. The Forest Cemetery is regarded as Neutra's first project, for after working under Bischof for nine months, he moved to the architectural firm of Erich Mendelsohn in Berlin before relocating to the US in 1923. |
