English: Stream through Coldfall Wood. One of a number of streams that flow into the valley now occupied by the A406 North Circular Road. Coldfall Wood is an area of ancient woodland purchased by Hornsey Council in 1930 and currently managed by the London Borough of Haringey. It is an example of coppiced woodland and is believed to have been used in this way since prehistoric times. |
