Description |
English: This street clock stood in front of B.L. Gates jeweler, located at 809 Second Avenue between 1905 and 1930. Many of Seattle’s street clocks were manufactured by Joseph Mayer and Brothers. Austin Seward worked for Pierson and Company, which documented the Mayer Brothers business. Building across the street is the Marion Building. Two other street clocks are visible further up Second Avenue.
