Description
English: This bridge connects the two largest islands of the Faroe, Streymoy and Eysturoy, crossing a sound that opens into the Atlantic Ocean at both ends. That's why Faroese people say, humorously, that this is the only bridge over the Atlantic Ocean (incidentally the dwellers of the Scottish island Seil make the same claim). Low clouds are very frequent in Faroe Islands.
