Summary edit
DescriptionSublimation of iodine.webm |
English: Sublimation of iodine under a microscope. The freshly prepared iodine crystals were placed under a microscope, where they started sublimating (i.e. evaporate without becoming liquid) under the influence of the heat of the microscope light. 20x microscope objective was used and bright field contrast. A gas mask was worn while making the video. The sublimation of different crystal faces is shown in the video.
The video clip is from chemicum.com educational chemistry video collection.
Eesti: Värskelt valmistatud joodikristallid viidi mikroskoobi alla, kus need hakkasid mikroskoobivalguse soojuse toimel sublimeeruma (ehk aurustama ilma vedelaks muutumata). Kasutati 20x suurendusega mikroskoobi objektiivi, heleväli kontrast. Video tegemisel kanti gaasimaski.
Videos on näha erinevate kristallitahkude sublimatsiooni. Video pärineb chemicum.com keemia õppevideote hulgast. |
