English: Sun after rain, Tay Street The paved promenade along the Tay Street flood defences is sparkling after a heavy rain shower. The flood defences were constructed after severe flooding in 1993 when the Tay rose to street level. At that time Tay Street had a narrow pavement on this side with open railings above the river and parking spaces interspersed with mature trees alongside the street. |
