Late morning on a clear day at Knuckles mountain range in Sri Lanka this Lizard was curious

Description
English: This area in Knuckles range is known as Pitawala Patana (mini world's end). It is home to many lizards, amphibians, snakes, butterflies and birds among other animals - some being endemic. Many of these lizards were observed on rocks sun bathing.

Knuckles mountain range has three well defined areas with separate access routes. Each area is unique and second to none as far as natural beauty and biodiversity are concerned. This is the Riverstone side where you can climb up to a mountain top that has an abrupt cut off which is called mini World's end. This is to distinguish it from the World's end at Horton plains where the drop is much higher.
