Description

c/n CBAF.IX4644. British military serial RW386. Previously the gate guard at RAF Halton, she was acquired by Doug Arnolds ‘Warbirds of Great Britain’ back in 1982. A restoration to fly was started with the British civil registration G-BXVI being allocated, but various location changes and periods in store occurred before she was finally sold to Historic Flying in 2005. She flew again in March 2007 and by May that year she had settled in Sweden, being based at Angelholm with Biltema and being registered as SE-BIR. Still a regular performer in Scandanavia, she is seen displaying at the 2017 Sola Airshow, Stavanger Airport, Sola, Norway.
