Description
A view of the Supreme Headquarters of the Order of the United Commercial Travelers of America. It was founded in the year 1887 and chartered under the laws of the State of Ohio on January 16, 1888. This building became the organization's headquarters in 1903. It was originally built in 1873 by William A. Neil and later occupied by William Dennison, and then George Merion Peters, who was affiliated with the Columbus Buggy Co. and Peters Dash Company. The house was demolished in 1924 to make room for a new headquarters of the United Commercial Travelers of America.
