Français : Ce cliché provient de la plage d'Ostende. C'était fin Novembre. Il faisait froid et le vent soufflait fort. Le sable entrait dans une sorte de danse avec les quelques rares personnes s'y promenant. Un énigmatique personnage au premier plan rompt avec la solitude et l'atmosphère quasi surnaturelle du lieu, et contraste avec l'impression de profondeur qui s'échappe de la photo. Son écharpe semble alors jouer le rôle d'une manche à air dirigée vers le casino "Kursaal", la tour "Europacentrum", les hôtels et habitations se trouvant sur le front de mer.
