Summary edit

Description
English: Survey Post, Branstree. Situated near but not exactly on the col between Branstree and Selside Pike it's location seems quite arbitary. It was built by Manchester Corporation during the construction of the aqueduct from Haweswater south via Longsleddale to Manchester and from the top the next survey post, on Tarn Crags (NY487077), is visible. View from the east with High Street in the distance.
