English: Surya Temple in Modhera. It a group of two main temple shrines and a few smaller shrines. The temples are built in such a way that the first ray of sunlight illuminates the entire temple complex. There is also a kund, or a water storage unit/ stepped well in front of the temple. The property falls under the Archaeological Survey of India.
