Summary edit

Description
English: The ruins of Sverresborg, "King Sverre’s castle", a fort and residence built on a cliff in the medieval city of Nidaros (later Trondheim) by King Sverre Sigurdsson ca. 1182. The ruins are now part of the Sverresborg Trøndelag Folkemuseum, an open-air cultural history museum with more than 60 buildings in the city of Trondheim. The photo, showing a wooden foot bridge and small gate, was taken on a sunny spring day in April 2019.
