| Description |
English: The Swan and Talbot, North Street, Wetherby, West Yorkshire. For the second time in just over a year the front has been given a facelift. The inside of this once traditional coaching house has recently been desecrated with white emulsion, spot lights and has been made to look like the lobby at a Best-Western. It seems yet another attempt by this pubs many operators and its owner Enterprise Inns to recapture the days when this was a popular pub. Being a little bit out of town and having a long list of operators of varying competence has taken its toll what was once the jewel in the crown of Wetherby's pubs. The place now seems a little kitschy and desperate, which is a great shame. Taken on the afternoon of Monday the 15th of April 2013. |
