English: Torpedo boat HMS Plejad (T102). Plejad served with the Swedish Navy between 1954 and 1977, when she was decommissioned and sold to a private party. Plejad was built by Lürssen shipyards, Bremen, West Germany. She was the first boat built in the Plejad-class. In total, the Swedish Navy had eleven Plejad torpedo boats. The last Plejad torpedo boat was decommissioned in 1981.
Plejad is the Swedish name for the star cluster Pleiades. |
