Summary
editDescriptionSwiss Army Shunter Em 3 3 (52407172754).jpg | This BABHE (Bundesamt für Betriebe des Heeres) shunting locomotive comes from Ernst Stadler's small workshop in Zurich before the production started in Bussnang in 1962. The Em 5836 909-2 was put into service in 1961. There are several types of these army locomotives. But they are rarely to see, if they still exist at all. This one is waiting for a buyer in Bronschhofen. The area is not open to the public. Some railway association could keep it alive. Switzerland, September 30, 2022. (8/8) |
