DescriptionSydney ferry KOREE approaching Mosman Bay Wharf.tif |
English: Sydney ferry KOREE approaching Mosman Bay Wharf circa 1928. This photograph, published in the Mosman Daily in February 1969, shows Colleys Boatshed in the foreground and the ferry, Koree, in the centre of the photo. Bill Saunders operated a boat hiring business on the site of Colley's boatshed from the 1870's. Bert Colley, having worked there since 1882, took over the business and tended sailing craft in Mosman Bay until his retirement in 1947. |
