Las diversas aplicaciones de las nanopartículas (NPs) han revolucionado varios sectores de la sociedad. En la última década, en particular las nanopartículas magnéticas (NPM) han cobrado un enorme interés debido a sus aplicaciones en áreas especializadas como la medicina, la teranóstica del cáncer, la biodetección, la catálisis, la agricultura y el medio ambiente. La ingeniería controlada de superficies para el diseño de MNPs multifuncionales es vital para lograr la aplicación deseada. Las NPMs han demostrado una gran eficacia como materiales termoeléctricos, agentes de imagen, vehículos de administración de fármacos y biosensores. En la presente revisión, en primer lugar hemos tratado brevemente los principales métodos de síntesis de los NPMs, seguidos de sus caracterizaciones y composición. A continuación, hemos analizado las posibles aplicaciones de las nanopartículas nanométricas con ejemplos representativos. Por último, hemos ofrecido una visión general de los retos actuales y las perspectivas de futuro de los nanopartículas móviles. Esta exhaustiva revisión no sólo proporciona una visión mecanicista de la síntesis, funcionalización y aplicación de los NPMs, sino que también esboza los límites y las perspectivas potenciales. |
