Magyar: Székelybánja vára, amely egy generáción keresztül az elnyomást jelképezte a székelyek szemében, Háromszék közepén emelkedett. Építése az 1562. évi székely felkeléshez és az azt követő segesvári országgyűlés határozataihoz köthető, feladata inkább a belső rend fenntartása és a székelyek megtörése, mint a külső ellenség visszaverése volt. A vár kora várépítészeti csúcstermékének számított, de alig negyed évszázaddal felépítése után dicstelen véget ért. A háromszéki székelyek Mihály vajda beleegyezésével lerombolták, olyannyira, hogy ma már csak félig betemetődött árkai figyelhetőek meg, falainak nyomai nem láthatóak. |
