Description
English:  : Statue of Saint Sebastian, or (Saint Sebastian votive monument), listed, limestone, Baroque, replica, original 1740 works. - Kossuth Square, Hatvan, Heves County, Hungary.
Magyar:  : Szent Sebestyén-szobor avagy Szent Sebestyén fogadalmi emlékmű, azonosító 5733, törzsszám 2121. A templom D-i oldalán fonatos kőballusztráddal körülvett, volutás talapzaton álló oszlop. Az oszlop tetején Szent Sebestyén-szobor, a talapzat párkányán kétoldalt Szent Rókus és szent Adalbert püspökszent alakja. A talapzaton elöl dombormű, hátul felirat. (Feliratát 1846-ban újra cserélték.) Szalagfonadékos kőkorlát. A pestistől való megszabadulás emlékére állíttatta a város lakossága (Mayerhoffer András terve alapján Jäger Antal). 'A hatvani emlékművet (mely az ország egyik legkorábbi ilyen vonatkozású alkotása) eredetileg a régi Kálvária temető előtti téren állították fel, a járvány áldozatainak tömegsírja közelében, majd 1846-ban a plébánia előtti térre helyezték át. Jelenlegi helyére 1971-ben került (Oláh Szilveszter (restaurátor)), ez alkalommal a szoborcsoport alakjait rossz állapotuk miatt kicserélték másolatokra. A Hatvany Lajos Múzeumban találhatók az eredeti szobortorzók.'- Heves megye, Hatvan, Kossuth Lajos tér
