Svenska: Tärendöholmen i Tärendö är en av Norrbottens mest kända festplatser, belägen där Kalix älv och Tärendö älv flyter samman. Den är en av de få bifurkationerna i Sverige. Älven för vid Junosuando över cirka hälften av Torneälvens vatten till Kalixälven där den mynnar vid Tärendö. Tärendöälven räknas som världens näst största bifurkation efter Casiquiarefloden i Venezuela. |
