National marine sanctuaries aren't just in the ocean! Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary is located in Lake Huron and protects one of the best-preserved collections of shipwrecks in the nation. What's more, divers and snorkelers are welcome to explore the wrecks -- as long as you're willing to brave the chilly waters!
