Description

La gare est en particulier desservie par la relation Aqualys, par les TER Centre et par les TGV Paris-Vendôme-Tours.

L'accès à Tours se fait aussi grâce à une seconde gare, la gare de Tours-Saint-Pierre-des-Corps. En effet, la gare de Tours est une gare en terminus. Pour éviter le rebroussement des trains venant de Paris et à destination de la côte atlantique (La Rochelle, Bordeaux), l'arrêt se fait en gare de Saint-Pierre-des-Corps.

Un service de navettes entre ces deux gares assure la correspondance avec tous les trains des grandes lignes qui ne desservent pas la gare de Tours.
