Description
English: British Rail Class 42 D800 was the first of British Rail Western Region's B-B diesel-hydraulic 'Warship' class locomotives. It was built at Swindon, entered service in August 1958 and withdrawn in October 1968. It was named Sir Brian Robertson in July 1958 (before it entered service) after the chairman of the British Transport Commission.
